Any person that is going trough an orthopaedic procedure needs to have a complete preoperative evaluation, not only by the orthopaedic surgeon but by the anesthesiologist and internist, especially if he or she accounts for a medical history of chronic disease which is something common in our patients.

Dr. Osvaldo Rascon Pérez
Orthopaedic Surgeon

A board certified orthopaedic surgeon with formation in “Hospital de Ortopedia y Traumatologia no. 21” which is a orthopaedics specialized hospital based in the city of Monterrey, Mexico. He has additional training in arthroscopic surgery in the University of Pensilvania, in Philadelphia, PA, U. S. A. He is currently the chief of the orthopaedic surgery module in the largest institutional hospital in Cd. Juarez, “Hospital General Regional No. 66” and has his private practice in Hospital Angeles Juarez. An active member of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Cd. Juarez and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Miguel Angel Rodriguez Rodriguez
Orthopaedic Surgeon

Board certified orthopaedic surgeon from Mexico City’s “Hospital Xoco” with special training in Knee arthroscopic surgery. He currently has his practice in the institutional area as well as the private sector in Hospital Angeles Juarez.

Dr. Rene Ayala Dena
Anesthesiologist

He is board certified by the Mexican Anesthesiologists Counsel and an active member of the Mexican Federation of Anesthesiologists and the College of Anesthesiologists of Cd. Juarez as well as an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists. His formation in anesthesiology is from the “Hospital Salvador Zubiran” in Mexico City. He is greatly experienced in anesthesia for orthopaedic procedures with special training in regional anesthesia as well as post operative pain management.

Dr. Gilberto Campos Haros
Anesthesiologist

Board certified by the Mexican Anesthesiologists Counsel. Active member of the Mexican Federation of Anesthesiologists and the College of Anesthesiologists of Cd. Juarez.
He has special studies in integral management of post operative pain.

Dr. Karla Rojas Vertiz Contreras
Internal Medicine

She is a board certified internal Medicine Specialist who had her training in Mexico City in the “Hospital Regional 1ro de Octubre” which accounts for one of the largest internal medicine modules in that city. She also has special studies in the treatment of obesity and weight control therapy. Her institutional work includes the treatment of patients with chronic and degenerative disease and her private practice is centered in patients with weight problems being this one of the most important issues in which most of our patients are in need of orientation. Her work is essential in the preoperative preparation of the patient.

Dr. Luis J. Casanova Cardiel
Internal Medicine

Dr. Casanova has his specialty in internal medicine with sub specialty in infectology. His formation has been in “Centro Medico Nacional Siglo 21” and in “Centro Medico Nacional La Raza” in Mexico City and has had studies and work in the department of microbiology and molecular biology of the “Robert Wood Johnson University of Medicine in New Jersey, USA. He is board certified and belongs to the American College of Physicians. He currently works in Hospital Angeles Juarez where he attends his private practice and directs the infections committee. Due to his subspecialty he offers a great deal of experience in the preoperative preparation of patients, especially in those that require a well balanced prophylactic antibiotic therapy.
